"Hear O' Israel, HaShem is our G-d, HaShem alone"

Psalm 16:10

The missionaries will say that Psalm 16:10 says that the Messiah will not be left in the grave (sheol) and that his body will not rot/corruption. They will clain that Jesus fulfilled this in Acts 2:22-32, Matt 28:1-10, Mark 16:1-8, Luke 24:1-9, John 20:1-31, and I Cor15:4-8.

The Reply is that you have to read the entire Psalm, not one isolated verse. Note that this is another Psalm of David. It expresses David's belief that G-d is watching out for him. Additionally, vrs 10 says "For You will not abandon me to Sheol, or let Your faithful one see the Pit." I says nothing about decay. It also say that (vrs11) "You will teach me the path of life. In Your presence is perfect joy;..." What is the path of life? For David (a Jew) it is the Torah. G-d know the Torah, if Jesus was who Christians claim him to be, he would also know and have no need of being taught the path of life.
