"Hear O' Israel, HaShem is our G-d, HaShem alone"

Psalm 89:27,28-30

The missionaries will say that Psalm 89:27, 28-30 G-d is my Father. 89:5,19-21,37,38 First born, highest King of Earth Throne established forever. Also, seed of David.

The Reply is: Note: Psalm 89:21 says "I have found David, My servant; anointed him with My sacred oil." This Psalm is refering to David, not Jesus. Thus, when verse 27 says "He shall say to Me, 'You are my Father, my G-d, the rock of my deliverance.'" (JPS) it is refering to David who, as noted in my reply to Psalm 2:2, 6-8, was a son of G-d in that G-d would disipline him like a child. This Psalm is about David, and the promise is that his throne, ie, his line will be forever. Furthermore, all kings of the Davidic line are warned, in verse 31-33 "If his sons forsake My Teaching (Heb. Torah) and do not live by My rules; if they violate my laws, and do not observe My commands, I will punish their transgression with the rod, their iniquity with plagues." The kings of the Davidic line must follow the Torah.

I would also point out that while one is Jewish because one's mother is Jewish, one can only be a Kohen, Levi, or Davidic king if one is decended from Aaron, Levi, or David respectively on one's father's side. Since the New Testament claims that Jesus was not Joseph's son, no matter who they claim Joseph to be decendent from, Jesus is not of Joseph's lineage. Jesus, according to the New Testament, therefore, cannot be a decendent of David, as his father is said to not even be human, and therefore not of the tribe of Judah, let alone of David and Solomon's line.
